About Us
The Travel Bureau is a family owned Travel Agent. The owners Michael & Holly Ditchburn have both loved to travel from an early age. by 18 months old Michael was hiking (well carried in a backpack) in the stunning Italian Dolomites, Holly’s first oversea holiday was to Singapore when she was seven. This love affair has continued throughout their lives.
The both crossed the world in 2002, Holly doing her big OS to Europe and Michael heading from England Downunder never to return from this trip. Michael & Holly finally met on New Year Eve 2006 watching the Sydney fireworks. Their first trip oversea’s together was back to the UK to meet the parents! This trip included Holly’s 1st, Michael’s 7th and Peter’s (Michael Dad’s) last Scottish Munro (Munro’s are peaks in Scotland over 300 feet, there are 282 of them). Eastern Europe was the final part of this journey. Traveling through Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
They Honeymooned in Vietnam and now take at least three overseas journeys a year. They know how to travel and create unforgettable journeys around the world.
