This area is definitely suited for you if you are an active person, since there are many activities to do here, such as hiking, skiing, biking, skating, dog sledding, rafting, fishing, and paddling.

Heading back to the east coast of Canada there are a lot of cities worth visiting; for example the capital of Canada, Ottawa. Close to here you will find Toronto, Quebec City, and Montreal. This makes it ideal to visit all 4 cities on the same trip. A highlight in Ottawa could be the Rideau Canal that is a World Heritage Site and a historic operating canal. Canada is also a very great country to go skiing in. The best place to go is definitely Whistler, which offers you 3200 hectares of incredible terrain and over 200 different runs. Two other ski areas that are also very good would be Banff and Sun Peaks. In Banff, you will be skiing in the heart of the Rockies, no wonder that this place is world famous. Sun Peaks is one of the largest ski areas in Canada and has three beautiful mountains.
